Abbott understands that we all have unique needs. Our dedicated Clinical Nurse Educators provide personalised support and training, ensuring patients, caregivers and healthcare professionals feel confident and reassured in all aspects of home enteral feeding.
Our training and education is tailored to meet the needs of patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals. Topics include:
How to operate the FreeGo® pump
Bolus feeding via syringe or gravity set
Managing and caring for tube-feeding equipment
Caring for and managing stoma sites
Administering medication through enteral tubes
The Abbott Homecare Connect Nursing Service consists of a team of Clinical Nurse Educators providing support nationally who:
Are registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA)
Complete annual training and clinical competency assessments
Hold Police and Working with Children checks
Operate within Abbott 's clinical governance framework for safe, high-quality healthcare delivery
When you no longer require your FreeGo® pump and/or accessories, all items can be returned in their original box to Abbott Nutrition using Australia Post to: Reply Paid 87773 ANI Service Centre, Locked Bag 2005, North Ryde, NSW 1670.
