Given below are options suggested for your kids to get required nutrients and grow healthy:

  • Milk
    Milk is one of the healthiest drinks it contains nutrients important for bone health sch as calcium, phosphorus, vitamin D, and protein. Child may find it monotonous and boring to drink daily milk. You can try something innovative and interesting flavoured milk at home which they may like.
  • Fresh fruits and vegetable juice
    Buy a handful of fresh fruits and vegetables from the market and prepare healthy juices at home. For example, orange juice, apple juice, etc. If your child is above normal weight for age, choose low-fat milk and limit sugar intake to help them in weight management. 

  • Smoothies or shakes
    Children enjoy and loe to drink smoothies or shakes. To ensure that it's healthy, add fresh fruits and prepare milk shakes like banana shake, mango shake, mixed fruit shake, etc.

  • Coconut water
    Cool coconut water is rich in Vitamin C, Calcium, Potassium, and Magnesium. It is a refreshing drink for kids in summer and is energizing at the same time.
